In 2015, I successfully completed my Bachelor of Science degree in Community Resource Management at Kenyatta University. Following this, I embarked on a professional journey that spanned six and a half years with Innovation for Poverty Action (IPA) before taking on the role of Senior Research Officer at the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in February 2023, where I continue to work to this day. My true passion lies in research, particularly conducting randomized control trials (RCT) focused on addressing social issues, and data analysis, which has remained the central focus of my career.

My journey at IPA commenced as a Field Officer, where I was responsible for both qualitative and quantitative data collection. Over time, I advanced through various positions, including Supervisor, Field Manager, and ultimately, by the time I transitioned from the organization, I had attained the role of Research Associate. My progression was made possible through the valuable knowledge I gained from my studies in Community Resource Management (CRM), which covered various essential topics such as leadership, advocacy, networking, community mobilization, resource management, research, statistics, and project cycle management, just to mention but a few.

What I found particularly appealing about the CRM program was its comprehensive curriculum, which allowed individuals to specialize in their areas of interest. For me, this specialization was in the realm of research. CRM not only broadened my comprehension of social issues but also equipped me with knowledge that remains indispensable in my current work.
